Thousands of children in the Atlanta area walk at least part of the way to school every day. Georgia law says you must follow federal law. So, we are talking federal motorcycle helmet law, which is DOT-compliant helmets. So, it is not enough just to be wearing a helmet, you must wear a DOT-compliant helmet. So, you need to make sure you’re wearing one.
